The thesis is devoted to the examination of the legal regulation of social protection Ostarbeiters. Defined historical and legal aspects of the formation of social protection Ostarbeiters and legal nature, content and features of the category of "slave laborers." Classification of workers forced to work during the Second World War in Germany. It is noted that legislation on social protection otarbeiters began to emerge at the end of the 1990s in Ukraine and its formation is closely related to international cooperation in countries such as Germany, Austria, at the level of government and various public funds. In this aspect, characterized display right to social protection in international instruments, analyzed international standards person's right to social protection. The comparative characteristics of domestic and European systems of social protection ostarbeiters. Much attention is paid to the analysis of legal forms, types and subjects of social protection оstarbeiters, establishing bases of, modification and termination of relationship with social security ostarbeiters view. The investigation identified problems and formulated the basic directions of perfection of the legal provision of social protection ostarbeiters to further development of Ukraine as a welfare state.
