Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to research of geochemical features of macroelements and trace elements' distribution in the underground water of Senoman and Jurassic aquifers, which are used for a drinking water supply, including pump room water supply. New data concerning distribution of Ca, Mg, Na, K, Cl, SO4, HCO3, Ba, Cr, Ag, Fe, Mn, Cu, Sr, Mo, V, Ni, Zn, Cd, Ti, Zr, Ce, Sc, La, Y, Yb in pump room water have been obtained. Enhanced contents of Na and Сl are revealed in north-eastern part of Kyiv. Distribution charts of basic macroelements and trace elements on territory of the city were built using facilities of geoinformation system. Predominance of complex free ions among the basic migration forms of chemical elements has been determined by thermodynamic modeling method. Biologically significant concentrations of chemical elements for ecogeochemical quality assessment of pump room water has been calculated. Keywords: hydrogeochemistry, macroelements, trace elements, forms of migration, Dnepr artesian basin.
