Essay

Each type has inner subtypes connected with different representations of sonata cycle and inner subtypes connected with stability or instability of instrumental line-up. Inheritance of classics and romantics has examples of each and every type and subtype. The paper sequentially analyzes "standard" trios composed by Vienna classics from the position of the two main genre parameters (compositional and dramatic regularity, ensemble regularity); the Addendum analyzes that for the trios which are "non-standard" from the compositional and dramatic point of view.
