Essay

Comparative study of the influence of aromatic and dicarboxylic acids on the tolerance of plant objects to abiotic stressors has been conducted. The increasing resistance of cucumber isolated cotyledons, wheat coleoptiles and intact plants of wheat and millet to hyperthermia, dehydration and salinity induced by exogenous 4-HBA and SuA has been noted. The connection between the ability of certain organic acids lead to increased ROS generation in plants and to induce their resistance to stressors has been shown.
