Chizhov O. State system of shadow flows' counteraction at the financial market of Ukraine

The study generalizes the theoretical and methodological grounds for directing the bank and insurance activity on decreasing the shadow economy, and also studies the macroeconomic mechanism for reducing the shadow money flows within the financial sector; it also studies the fundamentals of state influence in fighting shadow economy through bank and insurance activities. The thesis analyzes foreign and national experience of state influence concerning the fight against shadow economy via the activities of banks and insurers and offers new methodical approaches to estimation of shadow financial flows within national economy; the level of banks' and insurers involvement in shadow financial activities is investigated. The thesis grounds state standards on the transparency of banks' and insurers' financial flows and offers a methodical toolkit for state financial monitoring of banks' and insurers' activities, also presenting a methodical approach to estimation of potential financial abuses as well as estimation of the related organizational grounds for information support in banks' and insurers' activities concerning the reduction of shadow money flows.
