Essay

The object of research is the process of design, operation and maintenance of power plants of modern locomotives. The studies were conducted with the use of the fundamental tenets of the theory and design of engines, methods of system analysis and optimization of synthesis, methods of dynamics and strength of machines, the mathematical theory of experimental design, methods of reliability theory, mathematical modeling and experimental research methods. The results can be used to create new and upgrading existing diesel power plants.
