Barchyshyna I. Emphatics of epithet structures in the poetic text.

The thesis is dedicated to the investigation of emphatics of epithet structures in the poetic text. Systematization and analysis of architectonic, figurative and euphonic means of emphatization of epithet structures in the poetic text is carried out in the dissertation, as well as their influence on functional potential of epithet in the poetic text is determined. The classification of architectonic modifications of epithet structure is improved due to new approach to epithet structure as a dual integral formation. The character of interconnections between epithet structure and parallelism, chiasmus, parcellation, tmesis, enjambement is analyzed. The role of euphonic peculiarities in the emphatization of epithet structures as well as interconnection between melodic-phonic constituents of a text and sound characteristics of epithet is revealed. The investigation of means used for emphatization of epithet structures is carried out on the basis of poetic texts by M. Voloshyn and V. Svidzinsky.
