Essay

Collected and analyzed literature data indicates that treatment of acute deep caries remains a burning issue nowadays and requires a further study. The laboratory, microbiological, clinical, and microscopic study of electrometric developed domestic materials based on calcium hydroxide "Calcisol" and "Replex LC" prove their pronounced therapeutic properties in the treatment of acute deep caries. It was shown that therapeutic effect increase is evident in two weeks influenced by the developed therapeutic pads as well as statistically significant changes in clinical parameters such as patient complaints, morphological characteristics of the bottom of the cavity, the response to thermal stimuli, the electrical conductivity of dentin and microbiological indicators. Also noted improvement of all indicators for a long time and acquiring maximum effect after 6 months, indicating their antimicrobial and odontotropic action. The comparative evaluation of the developed medical pads and their foreign analogs has been carried out, and it has been determined that by the complex of therapeutic properties domestic pad "Calcisol" exceeds foreign pad "Calcevit" and domestic pad "Replex LC" meets foreign analog "Calcimol LC".
