Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the regularities of the structure and properties formation of the tool alloys based on the alloyed titanium carbide depending on the chemical composition and technological parameters of obtaining. It has been found that the use of operation of carbides synthesis and thermo compression treatment of sintered products result in the increase of mechanical and operating properties. On the basis of carried out investigations new polycarbide based tool alloys which are implemented at the "Vatra Corporation" Ltd., "Electroprom" Ltd. (Ternopil town) and "Pryladobudivnyi zavod" (Kamianets-Podilsky town) Ltd. have been developed.
