Essay

The object of the research is patterns of changing radiation hazard and its influence on work conditions in radiation-polluted territories. The aim of the dissertation: increasing personal and social safety in radiation-polluted territories. Methods of research: standard and offered by the author experimental and calculating methods of researching radiation hazard; methods of mathematical statistics and modeling in processing experimental data; analysis and synthesis of obtained data in comparison with fundamental researches in the field of radiation safety. Theoretic and practical results: scientific explanation that technical steps taken in 2006-2008 in tail storages of payable area of PE "PCP" gave only temporary stabilization of situation on radiation-dangerous objects; there was established the pattern of increasing effective specific activity, strength of gained doze equivalent to equilibrium activity concentration, which favors increasing total doze of radiation got by a person (H ef); firstly there was established the pattern of radiation hazard on the perimeters and routes of movement; there were grounded directions and steps aimed to prevent and decrease negative effect of ionizing emissions on security workers and physical safety DP "38 VITCH", implemented in guideline recommendations. Scientific innovation: further development was conducted for systematic researches in the territory of former uranic manufacture PE "PCP", which enabled complex estimation of radiation danger, establishing special connections and dependencies as well as dependence of its influence on the workers of DP "38 VITCH"; firstly on the basis of conducted research there was established the pattern of radiation increase on the routes of movement for security workers of DP "38 VITCH" with dependence on season and climate conditions; firstly there was revealed the pattern of increasing radiation hazard in time on the routes of security workers, which is connected with damaging integrity of surface of tail storages body in case of radiation-dangerous wastes in tail storages and at their exploitation; the prognostic structural-differentiating model of providing radiation safety on radiation-polluted dangerous territory of the former uranic manufacture PE "PCP" was developed. Level of adoption: guideline recommendations "Increasing safety on radiation-polluted territories of the former uranic manufacture PE "Prydniprovski Chemical Plant" were developed and implemented that enabled decreasing influence of ionizing emissions on workers of DP "38 VITCH" and work out "Conception of management of labour safety in DP "38 VITCH". Application field: enterprises and objects of uranic manufacture.
