Markovskyi B. Mythological symbols and the transformation of their perception in Christian cult tradition

The thesis is philosophical and religious research of peculiarities of the mythological symbols transformation in the Christian cult tradition. The research of the peculiarities of perception of time and space in the Christian cult tradition revealed their dissimilarity and hierarchy so typical for the mythical consiousness. Besides it was determined that during the process of transformation time and space symbols the transition from the cyclical time model to the linear one took place as well weakened the dependence of the sanctity in action on the sanctity of the place. The examples of phenomenological descriptions of perception of sacral manifestations exhibit that concrete and sensual imagery of perception of the mythological symbols is typical for archaic religious consciousness as well as for Christian one. But unlike the pantheism of religious beliefs, there is no indivisible unanimity of man and nature in Christianity.
