Mantsurov D. Statistical Support for the State Anti-crisis Economic Policy

On the basis of theoretical generalization of the modern scientific view used for the determination of the nature and forms of the economic crisis, the Thesis substantiates the author's point of view on the content of crisis management theory economic categories. A framework of statistical evaluation of the threat, duration and intensity of the current economic crisis and its social and economic impacts, which is based on the conceptual scheme of this phenomena systematic study has been designed. On the basis of these principles the comprehensive system of statistical indicators is developed. These indicators are used for the quantitative and qualitative statistical valuation of the crisis risk, intensity of its course, economic and social implications as well. Statistical analysis of the institutional, economic and organizational factors impact on the process of conception, creation, deepening the crisis in the economy of Ukraine has been done. Its results are used for the development of appropriate management decisions and a more effective mechanism of state influence on the process of economic growth. Implementation of these management decisions should help to overcome the crisis and reduce its negative economic and social consequences, increase the stability of the national economy of Ukraine and its capacity to resist to internal and external shocks and threats of economic crises in the future. The comprehensive system of the informational and analytical support to the process of the development and implementation of the mechanism that should facilitate early determination of crisis threats in Ukraine's economy, combating its deepening and effective response to its impacts has been developed. Appropriate substantial methodological recommendations for implementation of this system in the practice of central executive bodies of Ukraine have been provided.
