The object of research is the process of providing cars maintenance by spare parts. Purpose is to justify the theoretical positions and development of practical recommendations concerning the formation of spare parts logistics system by automotive enterprises. The author has used such general scientific and special methods: structural, logical and semantic analysis, comparative analysis, systematization and generalization, system analysis, the method of expert estimations, normative forecasting and method of graphical visualizations. The theoretical value of the thesis is to disclose the essence of the concept of "spare parts logistics", concepts clarification of "spare parts" and "reserve parts", distinguishing the flow of spare parts in the supply chain of vehicles, identifying information and material flows of spare parts. Scientific novelty: developed the concept of building spare parts logistics in the service of vehicles, improved the model structuring of assortment and spare parts stocks volumes, improved the model of determination of volume changes of spare parts demand. The subject of research is theoretical and methodological foundations of logistics spare parts formation of automotive enterprises. Recommendations of the author used to provide for the process of demand forecasting for vehicles spare parts and formation of structure and stock volumes of spare parts, depending on the nature of demand and type of vehicles spare parts. The scope of author's recommendations is national industrial enterprises.
