Yelisyeyeva O. Features of pathogenesis, course and treatment of generalized periodontitis in patients with lichen ruber planus.

The dissertation was devoted to increasing the efficiency of generalized periodontitis treatment in patients with lichen ruber planus (LRP) by studying the clinical and pathogenetic factors of combined course of given diseases and development of a therapeutic complex for correction of these states. There was defined the pathogenetic role of disfunction of specific and nonspecific indices of humoral immunity, peculiarities of microbiocenosis disturbances, indices of abnormalities in processes of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant protection (LPO-AOP) depending on clinical course of chronic generalized periodontitis (CGP). The method of CGP treatment in patients with LRP with and without lesion of tunica mucosa of mouth (TMOM) using lysozyme-contained drugs was developed. The performed investigations demonstrated the expressed capability of developed complex method of therapy to normalize hygienic and parodontal assays and indices, to determine as marker both parodontogenic microorganisms and pyogenic gram-positive cocci, to inhibit a non-enzymatic link of a free-radical oxidation of organic compounds which are positively reflected on dynamics of pathological process in patients with combined CGP and LRP. For effective estimation of offered treatment there was developed the method according to it the therapy efficiency was assessed by monitoring the indices of specific and nonspecific reactivity of mouth fluid.
