Kaliberda M. The method of scattering spectral operators in the waves diffraction problems by multielement sequences of discontinuities

The research object: the effect of diffraction of electromagnetic waves. The purpose of the thesis is the study of waves diffraction effect in finite-element and semi-infinite periodical structures with the use of the developed in the thesis methods. Research methods: method of the partial inverse of the operator, operator method, discrete singularities method, moment method. New theoretical and practical results: the theory, mathematical models and methods of modeling of electrodynamical characteristics of waveguide structures which have slot-type discontinuities are developed as well as new physical features and mechanisms in forming of fields, which have discrete as well as continuous spatial spectrum are exposed. The waveguide structures support multi-mode operation mode. Application field: radiophysics.
