Essay

The dissertation is devoted to research of gender peculiarities of a suicidal behavior in patients with depressive disorders and to working out a system for differentiated psycho-prevention. To achieve the aim and to perform the tasks of the study 128 patients (65 male and 63 female patients) with depressive disorders (F32.1 and F33.1) which had in their structure different forms of a suicidal behavior were examined. The control group was consisted of 113 patients (58 male and 55 female patients) with the same forms of de-pressive disorders without signs of a suicidal behavior. In the work it was used a com-plex of methods including clinical-psychopathological, psychometric, psychodiagnos-tic investigations and methods of mathematical statistics. The gender specificity of a suicidal behavior in patients with depressions allowed us to develop a differentiated system of psycho-prevention based on a joined application of drug treatment and psychotherapy. The results of efficacy assessment for the developed system of psycho-prevention evidence its benefits in comparison with the measures used traditionally.
