The thesis is devoted to the analysis of theoretical, administrative legal and institutional framework of the protection of public order in the region. The essence and significance of the protection of public order in the region is defined, the legal nature of basic concepts and categories is clarified. Strategic priorities of the state regional policy in the sphere of protection of public order are shaped. Administrative legal status of the subjects of protection of public order in the region is analyzed. Features of the institutional and legal framework of the protection of public order at the oblast, municipal and rayon level are determined.
