Tkachuk V. Credit unions in the market of financial services of Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to the study of theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of credit unions in Ukraine. The essence of credit union as a financial intermediary is considered and analysed. The theoretical and methodological principles of financial services provided by credit unions are laid out. The modern trends and problems of credit unions in competitive environment of financial markets are traced. The necessity of organizational integration of credit unions as a self-governing organization and a mandatory member in associations is grounded. The use of variation tree of strategies for a decision-making process in terms of extending consumer credit is considered.
