Object - process of investment management on railway enterprises. Goal - scientific justification and development of applied theoretical and methodical recommendations for improving investment processes management of railway transport in the dynamism of economic cycles. Methods - economical and system analysis, historical and evolutionary analysis, theoretical generalizations, ascending from the abstract to concrete, economical and mathematical modeling. Novelty - adaptive-situational approach to investment management on railway transport enterprises is justified for the first time, which consists in accounting of macro-economical and sectorial situation that has developed (or is predicted) at the time of adoption or execution of investment decisions and is accounting adaptation to it, which provides the basis of stabilization of economic development of the transport sector. Results - conclusions and recommendations can be used in management decisions about improvement of the investment process and economical activity of sectorial enterprises as oriented on providing all resources usage effectiveness and improvement of competitiveness of railway transport in the modern world.
