Negative basic emotional concepts FEAR, ANGER, SADNESS and their verbalization in Contemporary American prose. Comprehensive analysis of lexicographic material and close to 4000 lexemes verbalizing indicated concepts, found in American prose works. Aim is to establish nominative density of materialing each of the concepts. Methods used Are: contextual, morphological, conceptual, distributional, quantitative analysis.
