The luminescent properties of complexes of Y (III) and Sc (III) with the flavonoids - quercetin, rutin and morin in solution and in sorbate complexes were studied. An increase of intensity of luminescence (Ilum.) sorbates complexes Y (III) – rutin, and Sc (III) – morin in the presence of bovine serum albumin is due to intermolecular energy transfer of excitation energy from donor to acceptor BSA – rutine (morin). Found that the luminescence enhancement of sorbate complex of yttrium with chlorogenic acid is observed in the presence of TOPO due to formation of a ternary complex Y (III) –chlorogenic acid – TOPO with a ratio of 1:1:1 component. The luminescence intensity sorbate complex Tb (III) with propyl gallate increases in the presence of b-cyclodextrin due to the formation of strong inclusion complexes of cyclodextrin with propyl gallate, in which the latter acts as a "guest". For the fluorescent test – determination the amount of polyphenolic compounds in the plant material as a standard polyphenol addition is used gallic acid, sensitizing the luminescence of ions Tb (III). We found that the catechins in the sorbent phase have intense luminescence of its own, enhanced by ions Sc (III) for sorption from aqueous solutions on the sorbent – Sephadex G-75. Ilum. sorbates increases in the presence of anionic surfactants – sodium lauryl sulfate, which is obviously due to the occurrence of surfactant molecules in the inner sphere complexes with the formation of ternary complexes. Based on the results of studies a simple, sensitive and rapid techniques of sorption – luminescent and test – determination: flavonoids - quercetin, morin, rutin in plant raw material and pharmaceutical preparations; conserving agent – propyl gallate in edible and cosmetic oils, antioxidants – chlorogenic acid in coffee beans, catechins in teas, the sum of polyphenolic compounds in medicinal plant raw material were developed. Keywords: polyphenolic compounds, flavonoids, ternary complexes, scandium, yttrium, terbium, solid phase luminescence, adsorption, plant material.
