Boychuk O. Choral art Ternopil region in the context of socio-cultural processes of the ХХ th century.

The dissertation traced main trends of functioning and development of choral art in Ternopil region in the context of the dynamics of socio-cultural conditions of the twentieth century. It was found out, that the development of musical art in the region took place under the influence of a number of factors: the historical geopolitical, ethnic, causing the formation of regional peculiarities of choral performing art and creativity. Determined that the periods of formation of musical professionalism in the province were connected with the emergence of courses conductors, Ternopil branch of the Music Institute and, subsequently, the opening of a regional Philharmonic society. Covers the main directions and forms of activity of the choir in the multicultural environment, clarified the role of local choirmasters-lovers in the formation of choral art in the region, improved information about the numerous choirs.
