Object of research - bullous emphysema and its complications. A research objective: to improve the the effectiveness of diagnostic bullous emphysema through the use of multyslice computed tomography in the complex examination of patients to determine the surgical treatment and evaluation of its effectiveness. Research methods - clinical, instrumental, laboratory, histological, statistical processing of results. Novelty: the first comparative analysis of informative ray methods (of conventional X-ray, multyslice computed tomography, perfusion scintigraphy) in the diagnosis of various forms of bullous emphysema, bullous lung and transformation of the surrounding of bullae parenchyma. Results: multyslice perfusion computed tomography with bullous emphysema compared with perfusion scintigraphy is superior in identifying functionally active lung tissue with a sensitivity of 90,0% (95% WI 60,5% - 100%), specificity of 97,1% ( 95% of WI 88,8% - 100%). Introduced in clinical practice communal health care setting "Donetsk Regional Antitumor Center", in clinical practice of computer and magnetic resonance imaging of the Regional Clinical Territorial Medical Association, State Institution "Institute of Urgent and Reconstructive Surgery.
