Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of aromatic and heterocyclic compounds fluoroalkylation by perfluoroalkyl derivatives of copper, silver and zinc. Trifluoromethylsilver was shown to be a useful reagent for the trifluoroacetophenones synthesis. It was found that trifluoromethylcopper or pentafluoroethylcopper can be obtained from complex trifluoromethylzincbromide depending on the reaction conditions. Both compounds react with aromatic and heterocyclic halides with formation of aromatic and heterocyclic trifluoromethyl and pentafluoroethyl derivatives correspondingly.
