The object of the research is the process of logistics activities of agricultural enterprises managing. The aim of the research: theoretical basis of methodological foundations and development of practical recommendations to improve the process of management of logistics activity of agricultural enterprises. The methods of the research: abstract and logical systemic and functional, monographic, method of graphics, statistical method, economic, comparison, method of correlation and regression analysis, grouping, time series, the method of expert assessments. Theoretical and practical results: the theoretical and methodological background of formation and functioning of logistics systems in agriculture are analyzed. The features of the logistics activities of agricultural enterprises in general and logistic management in particular are identified. It was proposed to upgrade and complement the methodological developments of science logistics through the use of copyright indicators to measure the efficiency of production and warehousing. The economic analysis of agricultural enterprises in Zhytomyr region had been carried out, taking into accounts the opportunities and prospects for integration of logistics methods and techniques. The current situation of logistics management in agriculture was defined. The importance of the transport and storage factors of agricultural producers was established. The novelty of the research: methodical approaches to the management of the warehouse process of agricultural enterprises on the basis of harmonization of the amount and duration of storage in the system of procurement logistics to optimize the use of storage facilities and reducing logistics costs were grounded. The degree of implementation: the results are adapted to the use by the Main Department of Agriculture Development of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration, in the agricultural enterprises of Zhytomyr region, in the educational process (subjects "Logistics" for students of economics and "The transport process in agriculture" for the students of the engineering faculty in Zhytomyr National Agro ecological University.
