The dissertation is devoted to theoretical and practical issues of differentiation of regulation the labor relations in Ukraine. There was analyzed the historical origins and socio-legal characteristics of unity and differentiation as tendencies of legal regulation the labor relations. There was investigated the differentiation as a peculiarity of the subject and method of legal regulation of labor relations. There was shown the ratio of the scope of labor law and differentiation of regulation the labor relations. It was investigated the competition of standards in the field of labor law. There was defined the tasks of differentiation of regulation the labor relations in the modern world. There was determined the notion of subjective differentiation and stability criteria of its factors. There were investigated such factors of subjective differentiation, as: age, sex, health status.
