Object - set of economic relations that delve in the implementation of the investment process in the corporate sector, the goal - study of theoretical principles and development of practical recommendations for improving controls and leverage the investment process in the corporate sector; methods - analysis and synthesis, comparison, system and Economics and Statistics, novelty - improved interpretation of what constitutes "corporate sector" as a set of undertakings and associations that make up the base segment of the national economy, which is implementing investment projects, provides market production of goods and services and meet consumer needs of society. Unlike existing, the proposed interpretation focuses on the investment component that enables to mark the place of the corporate sector in the economy in the context of investment and the results - Basic terms and findings can be used in the work of relevant regulators in the formation and implementation of medium-and long-term economic policy of Ukraine in general and, in particular, its investment component; industry - economic
