Essay

Objekt: texts by Russian, Ukrainian, Serbian and Czech postmodern writers. Aim: to investigate the textual and semantic manifestations of carnival in Slavic postmodern prose in synchronic and diachronic aspects. Methods: comparative, cultural-historical, intertextual. Scientific novelty: for the first time it is offered to view carnival as the collective unconscious manifestation; the transformation from carnival into masquerade is viewed as the dunamic process taking place in the course of postmodernism development. Approved in 6 publications. The sphere of use: literature and high sckool practice.
