Puzyrna N. Administrative and legal basis for the Ombudsman of Ukraine

Dissertation is devoted to development of the administrative and legal bases of the ombudsman in Ukraine and suggestions for improvement as a subject of public legal relations of rights and freedoms. In particular, the paper characterizes the administrative and legal status of the ombudsman in Ukraine, studied the legal and organizational aspects of his staff, the subsidiary bodies and officials of relations with the public administration in order to guarantee and protect the rights and freedoms of man and citizen. Among other things, the paper analyzes the problems that arise in the human rights ombudsman activities in Ukraine, as well as proposals for their solution. Furthermore contemporary legal and institutional framework for the operation of juvenile and prison ombudsman in Ukraine.
