Essay

The thesis is devoted to the developing the theoretical and methodological bases and practical recommendations for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the food industry enterprises function. There was clarified the concept, nature and forms of the effectiveness and efficiency of industrial and economic activities, it was developed methodological basis of effectiveness and efficiency evaluation of manufacturing firms, and it was found systematic differences and factors of ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the food industry enterprises function. There was offered the author's approach to identify the levels of costs connecting with imperfect functioning of institutional environment in industrial company, and there was developed a set of principles of evaluation the performance system of the effectiveness and efficiency of enterprises transactors' functioning. On the basis of the analysis of the major trends in the food industry of Volyn region and the evaluation of effectiveness of enterprise of sugar beet subcomplex of the region there was developed directions, mechanisms and tools to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the food industry. There were offered the mechanisms of implementation of modern forms integration of business transactors and the formation of strategic alliance based on the sugar factories of Volyn region.
