Essay

The thesis deals with the physiological response of the winter wheat Triticum aestivum L. plants to the autumn ammonium nitrogen nutrition. For the first time it is demonstrated that autumn ammonium nitrogen fertilization within the root system zone of the culture in the form of anhydrous ammonia, either granular or crystalline fertilizers improves provision of the plant with nitrogen during the vegetative period. By means of ICP-spectroscopy method the increasing intensity of absorption of other macro- and micronutrients has also been first established.
