BigalskaOlha Y. Social and economic development of the rural households

The historical aspects of the social and economic development as well as modern conditions concerning of the rural households functioning are researched. The theoretical and methodological bases of the stated subjects' vital factors are highlighted. The thesis work defines their role and the place on the food market of Ukraine. The methodological principles of the calculation of the households' amounts with the account of the aggregate score of the trends extrapolation evaluation taking into account the tendencies in the particular areas are substantiated. The analysis of the social and economic state of the modern rural households to-gether with the main tendencies of their development in the researched area has been thoroughly carried out. In the process of the thesis work, the economic effectiveness of their activity is characterized. The strategy of the development and rural households' efficiency increasing in the future as well as the trends of its improvement considering the importance of the prospective transformations of the modern households into the progressive form of the small business on the rural territories, that are considered to foster their social and economic development, are substantiated. It is proved that the necessity of the formal and informal unions establishing of the rural households with the purpose of the highest economy efficiency ensuring is essential. Some trends of their activity diversification that are to ensure the additional sources of income gaining and guarantee the adaptability to the changeable conditions of the environment are suggested.
