Olenenko A. The Documentation of the Azov Province Office: the Problems of the Formation, Completeness and Informativeness.

The complex investigation of the clerical sources - the documentation of the Azov province office (1775-1784) - was implemented for the first time in the thesis. The historiography of the problem and the particularities of the process of the historiographical assimilation of the office's documents were described. The historical conditions of the functioning of the office, its structure, functions and employees were defined. The regularities of the formation and movement of the sources' complex were analyzed. The classification of the sourced was proposed. The informative potential of the Azov Province Office's documentation for the investigation of the unification processes of the Southern Ukraine during 1775-1784 in the governance, manpower policy and judicature were defined.
