Оbject of investigation: the waterpressure subbasin of the northwestern Outer zone of the Carpathian Foredeep; subject of study: sedimentary strata and formation water of the Miocene strata of the northwestern part of the Outer zone of the Carpathian Foredeep; methods of investigation: method paleohydrogeological analysis, paleohydrodynamic reconstructions, method of geobaric condition analysis, analysis of the hydrogeochemical characteristics of aquifer complexes of the Miocene strata of the northwestern Outer zone of the Carpathian Foredeep, graphic and cartographic methods; practical value: criteria for oil and gas bearing are formulated based on the complex research of the northwestern part of the Outer zone of the Carpathian Foredeep and prospective areas for hydrocarbon deposits search are allocated; scientific novelty: for the first time for the northwestern part of the Outer zone of the Carpathian foredeep intensity indicators of the water exchange on elizian and infiltration stages of the Badenian-Sarmatian hydrogeological cycle are calculated; paleohydrodynamic reconstruction of the Upper Badenian and Sarmatian sediments of the northwestern part of the Outer zone was done, spatial location of piezominimuma with the contours of proven gas fields in the Sarmatian deposits was correlated; the present-day hydrobaric situation by the methods of the reducted pressures was studied; planar change of the hydrogeochemical characteristics of aquifer complexes of the Miocene strata was shown; the lifetime of natural gas deposits is calculated, the model of spatial-temporal mechanism of gas fields formation are presented, prospective areas for hydrocarbon deposits search are allocated; spheres of use: geology of oil and gas.
