The dissertation is devoted to solving the actual problem of orthopedics and traumatology - improvement of treatment outcomes in patients with isolated and multistructural injuries of flexor tendons in zone II by the way of improving of diagnostic methods, optimization of surgical treatment and postoperative rehabilitation. The basis of the study was analysis of the diagnostics and treatment of 172 patients with isolated and multistructural flexor tendons injuries of 269 digits in zone II. Application of developed methods of ultrasound examination from the dorsal approach and special position of the hand for magnetic resonance imaging improved topical preoperative diagnostics of injured flexor tendons in zone II. A differential approach to the choice of method of operation depending on anatomical peculiarities of injured tendons and type of injury (isolated, multistructural) was developed, surgical treatment was optimized by reducing the traumatism of surgical approaches. Improved motion postoperative protocol with application of the "lag" clinical indicator in combination with ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging monitoring allowed an objective individual correction of rehabilitation program.
