Essay

The dissertation is devoted to investigation of hepatorenal syndrome early diagnosis opportunities in patients with cirrhosis. Comparative evaluation of the diagnostic methods sensitivity for the detection of hepatorenal syndrome features in sub- and decompensated cirrhosis was performed. The usage of the proposed algorithm with the determination of creatinine, sodium and cystatin C in serum, renal blood flow Doppler ultrasound examination and the mass of functioning hepatocytes in patients with liver cirrhosis improves accuracy diagnosis of hepatorenal syndrome, compared with known standard criteria.
