The object of research is the process of investment activity on the enterprises of manufacturing industry. The aim of the thesis is to develop the theoretical and methodological principles of economic effectiveness of the investment activity in the manufacturing industry in the field of publishing and printing activities. The author has used the following methodological means and methods of cause and: result connections, systematization and generalization, systematic and economic-mathematical approaches, statistical and comparative analyses, factorial analysis and economic-mathematical modelling, systematic approach and comparison. The theoretical value of the thesis is to explain the nature and the meaning of the concept of the "investment project", grouping projects and making a relationship between them; systematization the composition and the main features of the publishing business, as well as of grouping and classification of the main problem questions of the theory of economic efficiency. Scientific novelty of the results consists in developing of scientifically reasonable theoretical aspects and practical recommendations for the economic effectiveness of the investment activity of manufacturing industry in the field of publishing and printing activities. The subject of the study is methods of explaining economic effectiveness of investment activity on the enterprises of manufacturing industry (of the sector of publishing and printing activities). The practical value of the results of the research consists in development methods for the quantitative study of indexes of economic efficiency of investment activity on the enterprises of manufacturing industry in the field of publishing and printing activities and determining the economic efficiency of investment projects.
