Objekt: Else Lasker-Schuler's work. Aim: to study the specific configuration of the German oriental discourse, to consider Else Lasker-Schuler's creative work in the context of orientalism. Methods: biographical, receptive, cultural-historical, intertextual. Scientific novelty: for the first time in the Ukrainian literary studies Else Lasker-Schuler's selected texts were analyzed in the context of orientalism in the diachronic aspect. Approved in 7 publications. The sphere of use: literature and high sckool practice.
