Essay

The thesis is devoted to solving the actual problem: to elucidate the changes in the efficiency of noise barrier of their design parameters and geometric location and obtained ways to improve their effectiveness. The paper presents a generalized mathematical and solved the problem of diffraction of sound radiated by an infinite line source at an acoustically rigid half-plane in acoustically hard wedge of arbitrary angle. When developing the solution method of partial domains considered the existence of local features of the field in the vicinity of the edges, allowing to correctly carry out the coordination area acoustic field on the top edge of the barrier. In this work the effect of height and tilt barrier on its performance, advanced approaches and received sound fields to assess the effectiveness of the screen based on the relative position of the barrier, the sound source and the area is protected from the noise. A method for evaluating the effectiveness of sound-absorbing noise barrier and shows the negative impact of inadequate acoustic design of the barrier on its effectiveness.
