Markitan T. Peculiarities of Diagnosing and Treating Tonsillogenic Deep Phlegmonous Diseases of the Pharynx and the Neck

The thesis deals with the problem of surgical treatment of patients with the tonsillogenic deep phlegmonous diseases of the pharynx and the neck. For the dissertation 120 patients with tonsillogenic deep phlegmonous diseases of the pharynx and the neck were investigated and treated. New approach to surgery treatment was based on the results of research spreading inflammatory process in the neck, time-informing of KT in diagnosing phlegmonous process, results of trial of protease-antiprotease system homeostasis on different stages of inflammatory process. New approach to surgery treatment have been elaborated. It has been established that draining of visceral (medium) space on inphiltration stage allows to break spreading tonsillogenic purulent inflammation on the neck fatty tissue and to improve and increase the effectiveness of surgical sanation of deep phlegmon by diminished of amount of second operative intervention (Zk = 2,47; ?2 = 7,99) and diminished mortality of patients with deep phlegmon of the neck to 6,1%.
