The dissertation investigates the theoretical justification, development and improvement of scientific and methodological support and practical advice on effective organization of currency regulations in Ukraine in the context of the financial instability of the economy. Theoretical approaches the nature, goals, objectives, functions, tools of currency regulation. Analyzed historical evolution of international experience of the currency regulation. Systematized experience in implementing anti-crisis empirical models in the currency regulation. Analyzed and systematized current status, problems and prospects of the currency regulation in Ukraine and abroad. The features ensure balanced crisis currency regulation. The role and place of international reserves in the currency regulation. The scientific and methodical approach to predict the optimal exchange rate shocks in crisis. Substantiated scientific and methodological basis to determine the optimal level of international reserves of the country. The ways of improving the system of currency regulation in order to prevent the negative effects of economic shocks.
