Voitiuk I. Geochemical regularities of distribution of heavy metals in environmental objects under influence of ferrous metallurgy enterprises

Thesis is devoted to investigation of peculiarities of geochemical distribution of heavy metals in environmental objects that experience influence of ferrous metallurgy enterprises. Physicochemical and mineralogical peculiarities of technogenically polluted soils are established. Technogenically-caused associations of heavy metals in soils and bottom deposits are established on the base of geochemical criterions that include coefficient of concentration and percentage of technogenic. Eco-geochemical mapping of the areas influenced by ferrous metallurgy enterprises is carried out on the basis of own experimental data. Areas of maximum level of poly-elemental soil pollution are revealed. Forms of finding and indexes of mobility of heavy metals in soils and bottom deposits are established. Biogeochemical indexes of technogenically polluted areas, i.e. coefficients of biological absorption of heavy metals, coefficients of biogeochemical activity of grassy and wooden vegetation, microbiological indexes of soils are determined.
