The object of study - the state of microbiota and the immune system in infants with Candida infection. The purpose of the study - to establish patterns of microbiological and immunological changes in the body of newborn babies against Candida infections, the study of the biological properties of Candida spp., isolated from newborn and antifungal activity of chitosan acetate and iodide against Candida spp. This dissertation works on of microbiological and immunological research of Candida-infection at neonates to improve diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and prevention, as well as to study infection this pathology. The prevalence of Candida-infections was investigated in infants and features of strains of Candida spp. The point is that the cultural forms of the fungus were less adhesive active than the tissue. Immune status in infants with intestinal candidiasis is characterized by a decrease in the number of CD-16 + and CD-8 + lymphocytes (p <0.05), against increased expression of CD-95+, an increase in the number of CD-4 + lymphocytes and neutropenia (5,98±0,47 x109/l). This proves that the redistribution of cells into the inflammatory focus caused by Candida spp. Children with bacterial disbiosis contained in the intestines, have development of selective immune deficiency: reduction of T-helper cells and CD-16 + cells (p <0,05), which possess cytotoxic activity with an increase of the certain level of CD-8 + lymphocytes. Moreover, a more significant increase in the number of CD-16 + lymphocytes was observed in children born by cesarean section (1,45 ± 0,09 x 109/l). The high activity of anticandidiasis acetate and iodide chitosan were measured sensitivity of isolates to these compounds varied not only among different fungi species of the genus Candida, but also depended on the degree of pathogenic properties manifestation. MIC for the chitosan iodide was within 125±7,1 mg/ml, which were for chitosan acetate 110±6,3 mg / ml.
