Essay

Research object: S. aureus ATCC 25923 (F-49) museum strain, clinical isolates of the same species, isolated from the lesions of patients with suppurative inflammation. Research methods: informational and analytical, microbiological, physical, statistical. Equipment: laser "Lika-therapevt" densilametr, thermostat, autoclave, dry-air sterilizer. The rationality of low-intensity laser radiation usage with 635 and 870 nm wavelengths for antibiotic susceptibility increase of S. aureus ATCC 25923 test strain has been experimentally proved for the first time. The influence expediency of low-intensity laser radiation with 635 and 870 nm wavelengths for the antibiotic susceptibility increase of S. aureus isolates seeded from the wounds has been experimentally substantiated. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) decrease of all the investigated antibiotics in relation to the LILR irradiated S. aureus isolates seeded from the wounds and S. aureus ATC 25923 strain has been showed. The proposed method of antibiotic therapy photomodification enables to increase significantly the S. aureus antibiotic susceptibility, to reduce their therapeutically effective dose and the course dose and their toxic effect on the macro-organism accordingly. Implementation degree: 20 patents of Ukraine have been implemented in the studying process of Universities in Ukraine. Field of use: biology, medicine (infectious diseases treatment).
