Kobernyuk V. Dynamics of genealogical structure and pvoductivity of Black- and-White cattle in Ukvainian Polissya

Research aim: the studies of the dynamics of the genealogical structure and production performance of black -and -white cattle in Ukrainian Polissya. Research object: breed -forming processes in black -and -white cattle of Polissya zone. Research methods: zootechnical -economically important traits of animals; variational and statistical - calculation of average values, differences among them and their errors, correlation coefficients and the accuracy of research results. Scientific novelty: it has been proved that for further improvement of Ukrainian black -and - white dairy cattle of Polissya region, the reproduction of valuable breeding bulls should be organized through the development of the desirable genotypes within the breed itself. Level of implementation: the results have been implemented in Zhytomyrregional breeding association, Yerchyky Private Agrofirm, Grozinske and Novaya Pobeda research farms, Rykhalske UAAS Institute of Agriculture of Polissya of Zhyromyr oblast. The research results are also used in the educational process and research work at the departments of Zhutomyr National Agroecological University. Sphere: agriculture.
