The thesis is devoted to the development of theoretical studies and experimental justification of improving energy efficiency and ecological characteristics of the boilers of low and average capacity of heat supply systems on the basis of improvement of heating processes, heat transfer processes and emissions of harmful substances in STAP, while process of burning of high-ash-Donetsk basin coals. The design of furnace boilers of low and average power with STAP for the burning of low quality coal of Donetsk pool is developed. Operational parameters of the work defined in which the boiler works most effectively from the economic and ecological point of view.
