Essay

The thesis focuses on the approaches for effectiveness increase of the integrated treatment of generilized periodontitis which includes antihypoxants of metabolic actions in patients with coronary heart disease. It has been shown the exacerbation of generalized periodontitis, I -II stages, in the patients suffering from stable exertional angina pectoris, is accompanied by significant metabolic disorders. The condition of regional hemodynamics and microcirculation in the periodontal tissues under chronic generalized periodontitis in its acute condition in patients with stable exertional angina is significantly impaired, as evidenced by the change of rheoperiodontography indices. It has been found out the introduction of mexicor into integrated therapy for the patients with stable exertional angina and marked cardiac decompensation who have generalized periodontitis of I-II stages is not sufficient for the correction of lipid peroxidation indices, antioxidant status, nitric ions system, that substantiates the necessity for additional prescription of medicines of antihypoxic action. It has been established the introduction of mexicor into integrated therapy for the patients with stable exertional angina and marked cardiac decompensation who have generalized periodontitis of I-II stages is not sufficient for the correction of lipid peroxidation indices, antioxidant status, nitric ions system, that substantiates the necessity for additional prescription of medicines of antihypoxic action. Supplementation of antihypoxic therapy with co-enzyme Q10 for the patients is more effective in the correction of periodontal indices and metabolic processes.
