Essay

This thesis is devoted to the development of methods of pseudo-poly(amino acids) (PPAA) synthesis based on the glutamic acids (or its derivatives) and glycols of different nature and molecular mass via polycondensation method. For the first time it was proposed to use Steglich esterefication - low temperature activating esterefication with carboxyl group activator N,N'-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide.Surface activity and solubilization ability of synthesized PPAA water dispersions were studied. Peculiarities of shape and geometrical size of disperse phase particles via small-angle neutron scattering were established.
