Kohutych A. Clinical and immunological peculiarity of chronic hepatitis C in combination with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and the effectiveness of the rock salt microclimatotherapy

The thesis is dedicated to the investigation of clinical, biochemical and immunological peculiarity of CHC and its combination with chronic COPD. It also covers determination of the distribution of markers frequency among CHC patients with COPD as well as efficiency of the rock salt microclimatetherapy (RSMT) together with Tilorone and without it. There were 131 patients under the observation. Markers of HCV-infection were found in 13.3% of patients with COPD. For all groups of patients signs of asthenic syndrome were typical. Also typical, but different abnormalities of cellular component of immunity and system of lipid peroxidation - antioxidant protection (LPO - AOP) were found. Well-defined asthenic syndrome, obstruction distal bronchi, the lowest factors of differentiation of T-lymphocytes and the smallest value of the sum of integral indices of the immune system (p <0,05) for combined pathology were determined.The RSMT encouraged increasing of lymphocytes with CD3+, CD4+, immunocytes differentiation, normalization of immunoregulatory index and LPO -AOP system.
