Essay

The thesis is devoted to decision the urgent scientific and practical task of holding preventive strengthening of industrial building located on seismically-unsafe regions in Ukraine which were built in 1938-1970. The building plan frame of concentrate composition taking into account service damage found out on inspection and up-to-date project parameters. Its strain stress state (SSS) with seismic load 7, 8 and 9 scores is analyzed. It has been modeled up-to-date to project parameters building plan frame with seismic load 7, 8 and 9 scores. On the basis of found calculations it is proved the necessity of preventive procedure for such buildings which are located on seismically-unsafe regions of Ukraine. The strengthening method for building concentrate composition is represented. Strengthened plan frame of extended industrial building has been modeled. Calculations have been conducted. SSS of strengthened composition column has been modeled by solid finite element taking into account physical nonlinearity of constructive material. Calculations results show efficiency of suggested strengthening for regions with seismic activity 7-8 scores.
